Submission Requirements
Page size: A4 Word document
Margins: Use 1 in / 2.5 cm margins on all sides
Font: Use a 12 pt font Times New Roman
Line spacing: Use single spacing for each poem but leave an extra blank line between stanzas.
Alignment: Align text to the left, but don’t justify it
Page numbers: Number pages consecutively, starting at one.
Standard Spacing and Indentation: Maintain consistent formatting for line breaks and stanza separations as intended for the poetry’s presentation.
Specific formatting: Clearly indicate if design elements, such as idiosyncratic indentations or non-standard spacing, is integral to the reading experience of any given poem.
Spelling and punctuation: Follow English conventions.
Quotation marks: Use typographer’s quotation marks, “….”, if dialogue or quotations are included.
Italics and bold: Use italics and bold sparingly and only for emphasis where necessary.
Poem breaks: Start each new poem on a new page
